Fashioncheque

Mobile app

Background

Fashioncheque is a fashion giftcard with more than 10.000 fashion stores and webshops connected in different countries.

Briefing

Fashioncheque wanted a fast and easy way for the client to manage and spend their gift card. An important feature would be activating the Fashioncheque by easily scanning a code and checking the balance. But also to upgrade their card and buy fashioncheques for others as part of the up-sell strategy.
A mobile app would bring all these options within reach, any moment of the day.
The shopfinder is helpful for users to find the (nearest) shop to spend their Fashioncheque on the go.

Design a mobile app that gives our clients the option to use our services anywhere, anytime.

Prototypes

Flowchart

In a concept meeting with the product owner of fashioncheque we set the requirements. That was the starting point for the structure that I visualized in flowcharts. This flowchart shows the different elements of the mobile app in the right flow.

Wireflows

For Fashioncheque I chose to create wireflows. With these wireflows you can create a prototype in a clear way with all the (complex) interactions embedded. With Fashioncheques’ product owner we optimized the flow, layout and interactions in short iterations.
An advantage of this approach it gave them a good idea about placement of content like images and text.
The wireflows also gave a good view on different questions we had:
– How much stores can we show to still keep a good overview for the user?
– How will third party tools integrate to keep engagement high?
